Morgan started dance six years ago with HOD. Her personal lovely comments need to be
quoted, just as they were written: “While I have never used my dance skills on the dance
team or as a cheerleader, I have used the dance skills that are not usually thought about
such as self-discipline, precision to detail and creativity in the classroom. These skills have
helped me to develop a higher level of self-confidence, which has helped me to become a
better all around student.” She will attend UNC-Greensboro in the fall pursuing a career in
Graphic Design/ Commercial Art.

“In dance, I have found so much more than intricate footwork, maintaining perfect posture
and tight arms. I believe that we learn by practice, even if it means to learn to dance by
practicing dance or to learn to live by practicing living. In each it is the performance of being
dedicated to doing your best!”

“I would like to thank all my parents, my grandparents, my great-uncle and aunt, and my
friends for being my fans throughout my life….my HOD instructors , past and present, for
their gift of teaching dance. I would also like to thank my twin brothers and mom for being
my toughest critics and my loudest fans! Last, I would like to thank God for my gift to dance.
I love you all”….Morgan
