Amber's House of Dance

Mary-Metta has danced with HOD for the last nine of her 15 years of instruction and has
been on the HOD All Star team this year. She was on both the WMS and WAHS dance
teams as well as co-captain of the high school team her junior year. She also performed in
school musicals, with the dance company and a member of the dance club. Next year,
Mary-Metta will attend ECU preparing to study for their Physical Therapy program.

“First, I’d like to thank my family. They have always been there for me and have guided me
in the right direction. Through good and bad, my family has helped me with it all and made
me the young lady I am today. I’d also to thank Ms. Amber. Ever since I came to Amber’s
House of Dance nine years ago, I have learned so much in not only dance, but valuable life
lessons as well. I will miss HOD more than many will ever know, especially you, Ms. Amber.
Thank you so much, to both by family and Ms. Amber, for shaping me into the young lady I
