Maggie Bass

"Dance has been such a great way for me to build some of the most treasured friendships in my life. Not only have I created a great connection with the people in the studio, dance has given me a way to express myself. I think that no matter what style of dance it is, each and every movement has a meaning behind it. It is such a beautiful thing to watch and better yet to experience. Dance has been a beautiful factor in my life, from the countless skills and technique I have learned, to the things that it has taught me about musicality, and most importantly the relationships it has created.

I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for the time that they would take out of their days to take me to my classes, the money they would spend on classes, and most importantly the support they never failed to show me. From watching me practice my dances in the living room, to bringing me flowers at recital, I always knew that I had them in my corner no matter what. Secondly, I would like to thank every single one of the dance teachers I have had. Thank you for dedicating your time to me multiple times a week. The positivity and support that you pour into all the students at AHOD does not go unnoticed. Many of my past dance teachers are role models in my life that I look up to. The love and kindness that you all show your students, even it's once a week, make a world of difference."

Melia Beck

"Dance has been my outlet for the past 15 years. It's part of my identity-the one place where I feel completely myself. It has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life, giving me a way to express emotions I didn't know how to say out loud. Whether I was dealing with injury, stress, or just feeling lost, dance gave me a sense of purpose and strength. It's taught me resilience, discipline, and the power of progress over perfection. Amber's has always been my second home, and some weeks, I've spent more time in the studio than in my own house. Dance has given me another family - people I would give anything for. I will forever thank God for the gift of dancing with my team.

First, I would like thank my mom and dad for supporting me through all these years of dance. From the hard-earned dollars you've spent, to the countless long weekends at competitions, to the endless drives to and from dance before I could drive myself-and all the other sacrifices you've made to help me thrive-thank you. Your support and faith in me will never leave my heart. I love you endlessly.

To my sister, Kamryn, thank you for always pushing me further than I ever believed I could go. I wouldn't be the dancer I am today without you. I look up to you so much, and you've helped shape me into not only a better dancer, but an even better person. From late nights making up fun combos at the studio to making me drill my turns in the kitchen, from the moment I could walk, to choreographing solos for competitions and clinics- no one has a bigger heart than you. Love you forever.

To my sister, Jalyn, thank you for being my biggest supporter from a distance. I'll never forget the love and encouragement you've given me, even from Florida. Thank you for every performance you've flown in for, for cheering me on through every stage of my dance journey, and for pushing me to be the best little dancer I could be. Most of all, thank you for being the dancer on stage who made my little eyes light up and inspired me to begin this journey in the first place.

And Amber, thank you for being more than just my lifelong coach, but also my second mother. You've taught me more than just how to dance - you've taught me how to be strong, responsible, respectful, and most importantly, humble. I want to thank you for every correction and every compliment you've ever given me. Without you, I wouldn't be who I am today and I'll carry your lessons with me always. AHOD4L."

Gracie-Kate Greenstock

"Dance has taught me many lessons in life but the biggest takeaway for me is learning how to make goals, achieve them, and have fun in the process. I'm thankful that AHOD was and will forever be a second home, where I was able to meet my best friends.

I would like to thank my family, all of my dance teachers throughout the years, my dance family and God. I would be no where without the love and support from Amber and my best friends that I have gained throughout the years. I thank God every day for giving me the ability to dance and giving me the opportunity to do what I love most."

Houston Hopcroft

"Dance has created a purpose for me. A lot of people go on their life journey not having a passion or dedication but dance has created that for me effortlessly.

I would like to thank my Mimi, from every jazz shoe she bought to every performance she attended. I dance for her, to make her proud of the person I am today."

Hollie Mahaffey

"For me, dance has given me the opportunity to laugh everyday with the people I love, while growing my passion that I can continue to enjoy throughout my lifetime. Dance has allowed me to express myself through various forms of movement. With my second family I have built at AHOD, we get to enjoy the mess ups and if someone looks silly. I have grown to enjoy being a role model for the younger kids as they wave hello and tell me they love to watch me dance. Dance has taught me to have confidence while learning life skills I will never forget.

As I finish my high school career, I would like to thank Ms. Amber for always pushing me to be the best dancer and person I could be. I also want to thank her for being the coach that made me love my sport even more than I could ever have imagined. Thank you to my mom for taking the time out of her day to drive me back and forth to dance and supporting me in every decision I made. Lastly, I want to thank my Mimi as being an influence in my life to always be happy and put a smile on other's faces."

Ellie Phillips

"Dance has been a part of my identity for as long as I can remember. When I'm dancing, there is nothing else that matters to me. The studio is my escape from reality. If I'm having a bad day, I look forward to getting to dance because I know all my problems will fade for those two hours of class. Amber's studio is my home away from home. It's provided me with memories and relationships I will hold onto forever. My passion for dance is hard to put into words. I would not be the person I am today without the lessons I've learned from dance.

I would first like to thank my mom and dad for giving me the opportunity to dance all these years. They never fail to make me feel loved; from the monthly paychecks to spending endless hours at competitions, their support for me has never gone unnoticed! I would like to thank my older sister, Bethany, for keeping me humble and never doubtng me. I look up to her in every aspect of life. She's always pushing me not only to be a better dancer, but a better person. Lastly, I would like to thank Amber. Amber is my coach, second mother, and best friend all in one. She hasn't just taught me how to point my toes, jump, leap and turn but she's taught me discipline, time management, respect and many more lessons that will make me successful in the next chapter of my life. Her tough love has allowed me to be the strong-minded person I am today."
